THE STARTING SALARY WILL NOT EXCEED 10% OF THE MINIMUM OF THE SALARY RANGE
This position is within the Criminal Intake Department and is primarily responsible for creating cases either by warrant, Information or notices to appear, assigning case numbers, setting court events, general docketing, imaging documents, processing work within electronic queues, and implementing court actions. All employees in this department work in a phone bank processing calls and traffic infraction payments. |

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: | |
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from a community college; graduation from high school and two years of office clerical experience will substitute for the two years of college. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Must be able to read and interpret documents such as instructions and procedure manuals. REASONING ABILITY: Must be able to solve practical problems and to deal with a variety of work variables. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Licensure or Certification Requirements: May require a driver's license if assigned to transport files among facilities or assigned to a remote office. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, and ABILITIES:
The employee must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time, perform repetitive actions and motion of one or both hands, lifting up to 65 pounds, bend/squat/kneel, hear ordinary conversation and office sounds, conduct verbal communication in person and on the phone, and prepare and read written communication by hand and on PC. |
