Draft Miccosukee Canopy Road Greenway Management Plan
The Miccosukee Canopy Road Greenway Management Plan serves as a comprehensive framework for protecting, enhancing, and maintaining the public accessibility of the Greenway. Updated every ten years, the draft plan has been developed in collaboration with the Miccosukee Canopy Road Greenway Citizen's Committee to ensure it reflects both community input and best practices in land stewardship.
As part of the ongoing efforts to engage the community, Leon County will hold a public meeting to gather feedback on the draft Management Plan. The meeting will take place on Thursday, November 7, at 5:30 p.m. at The Hub at Feather Oaks, 6500 Miccosukee Road. Following the public meeting, the plan will be submitted for review and adoption by Leon County BOCC meeting on January 28, 2025, followed by the State.
