Community Health Coordinating Committee
The Committee is a fact-finding source of community input and technical resources for use by staff in developing a staff recommendation regarding a matter to be considered for Board approval and has the following goals:
- Serves as a hub of information regarding existing community partners, their capabilities, admission criteria, and sources of funding.
- Recommends the promotion of preventive health strategies determined as community priorities identified through community health assessment tools.
- Makes recommendations to staff regarding strategies to promote access to care and local available services for Leon County residents.
- Provides a forum to analyze system gaps with the intent of recommending locally based solutions.
Enabling Resolution No. 10-68, adopted July 13, 2010; Continuing Resolution 14-51 dated September 23, 2014.

Committee is scheduled to sunset on September 30, 2017.

Members will serve a continuous term and the Committee shall be dissolved on Sept. 30, 2017 or as otherwise directed by the Board, as per Resolution No. 14-51. Vacancies are filled for the remainder of the unexpired term.
